Box Office Report: Sunny Deol’s 'Jaat' and Ajith Kumar's 'Good Bad Ugly' Heat Up The Theatres

Despite initial enthusiasm, these films have experienced a decline in collections, reflecting a tepid response from audiences.

‘Jaat’: A Promising Start Faces Early Challenges

Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat’ commenced its theatrical journey with a commendable opening, garnering ₹9 crore on its first day. However, the film saw a dip on the second day, collecting ₹6.75 crore, bringing its two-day total to ₹15.75 crore.ons like Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Nevertheless, to achieve profitability, ‘Jaat’ needs to maintain momentum over the weekend and beyond.

‘Good Bad Ugly’: Ajith Kumar’s Film Experiences Sharp Decline

Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’ opened impressively with ₹28.5 crore on its first day. However, the film’s earnings plummeted to ₹13.5 crore on the second day, marking a significant drop.

Despite achieving Ajith’s highest global opening with ₹50–51 crore, the steep decline raises concerns about the film’s sustainability at the box office.

‘Sikandar’: Salman Khan’s Eid Release Underperforms

Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ debuted with ₹26 crore on its opening day. However, by the 13th day, the film’s daily earnings dwindled to ₹3 lakh, culminating in a domestic total of ₹108.15 crore.

Critics have largely panned the film, citing a weak script and lackluster direction. Despite a worldwide collection surpassing ₹250 crore, ‘Sikandar’ struggles to resonate with Indian audiences.

The recent performances of ‘Jaat’, ‘Good Bad Ugly’, and ‘Sikandar’ underscore the unpredictable nature of the box office. While initial openings were promising, sustaining audience interest remains a challenge. The coming weeks will be crucial in determining the long-term success of these films.
