Terrorists opened fire on an Indian Army vehicle passing through the area, located in the Sundarbani region, near Fal village. Authorities reported that the attack occurred while the Army vehicle was moving through an area known for frequent terrorist activity. As the vehicle passed, militants hiding in nearby forests opened fire. Fortunately, no soldiers were injured in the attack.

The security forces responded promptly by cordoning off the entire area and deploying additional forces for support. A search operation has been initiated in the area to track down the terrorists involved. According to officials, the region where the attack occurred is considered a traditional infiltration route used by terrorists attempting to cross the LoC from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
