PM Modi Flags Off Hisar-Ayodhya Flight

PM Modi's Visit to Bhagalpur

KKN Gurugram Desk | In a landmark move to boost regional connectivity and infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first commercial flight from Hisar, Haryana to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The event marked a significant milestone for Hisar and the state’s aviation ambitions, aligning with the central government’s broader vision of expanding regional air networks under the UDAN scheme.

At the event, held at the Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for a new terminal building. The project is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing regional mobility and stimulating local economic growth through tourism and trade.

Flight from Krishna’s Land to Ram’s Janmabhoomi

Describing the new air route as a symbolic bridge between “Shri Krishna’s land (Haryana)” and “Shri Ram’s janmabhoomi (Ayodhya),” PM Modi emphasized the cultural and spiritual significance of the initiative. “This flight does not just connect two cities. It connects aspirations. It uplifts dreams. It is a promise fulfilled — the dream that even the common man in slippers will travel by air,” he said.

Strengthening BJP’s Roots in Haryana

The Prime Minister reflected emotionally on his early political career and his long-standing association with Haryana. He recalled working alongside senior BJP workers during the party’s formative years in the state, highlighting the grassroots efforts that helped the party gain a stronghold in Haryana.

“These relationships and the hard work of those senior leaders have built a strong BJP foundation in Haryana,” Modi stated, expressing gratitude toward his colleagues and party workers.

Tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on His Birth Anniversary

Marking the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, PM Modi paid tribute and underlined the government’s commitment to his ideals.

“Dr. Ambedkar’s life and struggle have been a guiding light in our journey over the past 11 years,” the Prime Minister noted. “Every policy, every decision of our government aims to bring meaningful change to the lives of the marginalized — the poor, oppressed, tribal communities, and women.”

The Double-Engine Growth Model: Fast-Track Development

Reiterating his government’s agenda of development, PM Modi praised the “double-engine government” model, referring to BJP governments at both the Centre and the state level. According to him, this synergy is the reason behind India’s and Haryana’s rapid strides toward becoming “Viksit Bharat” and “Viksit Haryana.”

“The mantra of the BJP government is constant and accelerated development. Our vision is focused on the inclusive and sustainable growth of every region,” he said.

New Air Routes in the Pipeline from Hisar Airport

During his address, the Prime Minister revealed that more flight routes from Hisar Airport will soon be operational. This expansion is aimed at further improving regional connectivity, giving a major boost to local industries, small businesses, and the tourism sector in Haryana.

The Hisar Airport, strategically located and upgraded under the central government’s regional air connectivity push, is expected to emerge as a crucial node in India’s growing aviation map.

Boost to Local Economy and Employment Opportunities

The launch of commercial flight services from Hisar is also expected to create employment opportunities in the region. With improved connectivity, ancillary sectors such as hospitality, logistics, and tourism are set to benefit substantially.

This is not just about flying planes but also about uplifting the economy of Tier-II and Tier-III cities, reducing migration to metros, and strengthening local livelihoods.

BJP’s Commitment to Transforming Infrastructure

PM Modi reaffirmed his government’s focus on transforming India’s infrastructure landscape. “Be it roads, railways, or runways — we are committed to building infrastructure that connects and empowers every citizen,” he emphasized.

With the development of new airports and terminal buildings like the one proposed in Hisar, India aims to rank among the top nations in terms of civil aviation infrastructure in the coming years.

A Symbol of Aspirational India

The Prime Minister’s speech at Hisar was also a tribute to the spirit of New India — an India that dreams big and achieves bigger. “This is the era of aspirational India, and we are determined to ensure that no citizen is left behind in the country’s journey of progress,” he asserted.

The flight between Hisar and Ayodhya, thus, stands as more than just a transportation initiative — it is a symbol of inclusive development and shared national identity.

PM Modi’s visit to Hisar and the inauguration of the flight service to Ayodhya has marked another significant step toward fulfilling his government’s promise of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.”

The event reaffirmed BJP’s development-first approach while also serving as a platform to connect emotionally and ideologically with the people of Haryana.

As more such initiatives unfold, India continues to pave its way toward a future where growth reaches every corner — one airport, one city, one citizen at a time.
